In a major week for M10, we launched Herman Brot’s Protein Muesli; the culmination of four years working side-by-side with our food wholesaler client while playing an instrumental role in its inception – from packaging, to taste, flavour profiles and marketing.
Australia’s Herman Brot continues to create staple foods that are full of goodness, and their new breakfast cereal range is set to make its mark in a category that’s often full of not so healthy options.
Herman Brot Protein Muesli launches this week and will be available in 3 flavours – Peanut Candy, Red Fruits and Chocolate.
The highlight of the muesli is the amount of plant protein found in each serve. Peanut Candy = 21.2g/45g serve (47% protein) | Red Fruits = 19.8g/45g serve (44% protein) | Chocolate = 19.9g/45g serve (44% protein).
Herman Brot’s Christian Coenen is excited to be launching a breakfast cereal that’s actually good for your body.
“In a market where most breakfast cereals have minimal nutritional value, are often full of hidden sugars and promoted to consumers as healthy (using creative and gimmicky marketing techniques); we are proud to once again be launching a staple food with no artificial colours or preservatives, and products that have macros that are very hard to compete with.
“With incredible high protein, low carb and low GI figures – the muesli is suitable for people with Type II diabetes, health & fitness professionals and people wanting to lose weight. Created using plant protein, the products are also perfect for vegans and vegetarians,” said Christian.
The release of the 3 flavours of Herman Brot Muesli now takes the Herman Brot product range to 5. Herman Brot Lower Carb Bread has been in the market place for 2 years and Herman Brot Lower Carb Pasta launched 12 months ago.
Herman Brot recognise that although there continues to be a lot of very confusing information regarding diets, a large percentage of consumers are getting smarter, doing more research and switching to diets that are much healthier.
“Intelligent Eating” is what it’s all about,” said Christian.
“Real foods that fuel the body, can assist with weight loss, can control blood sugars and will keep you full, are what consumers are looking for.
“We have created staple foods that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner and when it comes to nutritional values, all of our products have minimal competitors in a very saturated market,” he said.
