We are thrilled to be working with Melbourne’s leading talent agency, EPIC Talent Management, who have just opened their first Queensland office on the Gold Coast.
The entertainment industry veterans have begun signing dancers, actors, models and influencers on the Coast for everything from film, TV and extras opportunities to promotional work, modelling, presenting and commercial campaigns on screen, online and in print.
With a focus on the premier management for the entertainment industry, the newly minted Gold Coast business will also have a dedicated division – ‘Epic Jnr’ – devoted to the youngest of talent, from babies to 15 years of age.
EPIC director, Cindy Chismon says the increase in work in South East Queensland led to the decision to open new offices on the Gold Coast.
“Sydney and Melbourne used to be the duopoly for film and TV, however now we are seeing the industry thrive in Queensland.”
She adds: “There is not only a dramatic increase in TV and film work, we are seeing more and more commercial campaigns being shot out of Brisbane and the Coast.”
EPIC has supplied talent for recent films including Undertow and TV series such as Offspring, Wentworth, The Dr Blake Mysteries, Sisters and Next Gen (Romper Stomper).
EPIC Talent Management are now recruiting for a number of upcoming projects, including a confidential TV series being shot in the region in the new year.
